Daisy Print Dress

Open back and button detail.
This is the second version of this dress I've made, and I love this version just as much as the first. Even the open back isn't a problem.
The fist time I made this dress, I was a bit unsure of the exposed back, thinking it wouldn't look flattering on me. By the time I got around this making this dress I knew it wasn't going to be a problem. I absolutely love the color contrast of the daises against the blue background. And the button detail in the back sets off the yellow centers of the daises.
There is a progress vlog on my channel describing in more detail the process of how I made this dress and some of the design hiccups I encountered along the way. Most likely the only thing I would change is the yoke. I choose to put a rather stiff interfacing in it, which I regret. I think either a lighter-weight or no interfacing at all would be better, considering the cotton fabric has a decent stiffness to it already.
I also own this same fabric in pink. It also comes in several other shades, including purple! Purple is my favorite color! I may have to have a few more dresses in this print.

Gathered bodice.
